Three Arrested for Home Theft Netting $200K in Merchandise

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office said three suspects were arrested for burglary and theft from a Fredericksburg, Virginia home, and stealing lottery tickets from a convenience store.

The suspects were identified as Paul White, 27, of Spotsylvania; John Richardson, III, 27, of Spotsylvania; and Blake Brightwell, 28, of Fredericksburg. All three were arrested on Friday.

Detectives said more than $200,000 of merchandise was stolen from a home in Twin Springs Estates early last week. They were able to recover a large portion of the stolen property, including several items of jewelry.

The three are also accused in the theft of lottery tickets from the Wawa store in Cosner’s Corner in early August.

They are currently being held in the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
