Thieves Steal 1,500 Gallons of Diesel Fuel

Police Checking Surveillance Videos

More than 1,500 gallons of diesel have been stolen from underground tanks in Anne Arundel County. That’s about a $2,000 loss, split between two different stores.

The more recent theft happened early Wednesday, when 830 gallons of diesel disappeared from a High’s Dairy Store in Glen Burnie, Md. Tests ruled out any leaks.

And on Aug. 26, 740 gallons of diesel were stolen from a High’s east of Annapolis.

Police are checking surveillance videos from surrounding businesses.
