The Tiniest Movie Ever

IBM has released what it calls the “Tiniest Movie Ever,” a one-minute video in which individual carbon monoxide molecules are rearranged to show a boy playing with a ball, dancing and bouncing on a trampoline. Each frame measures 45 by 25 nanometers. It was made using a microscope that magnifies the surface over 100 million times, and a tiny needle that moved the molecules across a copper surface.
