Whether you're staying in the D.C. area for the weekend or traveling, there's good news and there's bad news.
The good news is that Thanksgiving looks like it will be partly sunny and dry. The bad news is it will be windy, putting wind chill temperatures in the 30s for most of the day. There is also a chance of rain this weekend, particularly on Sunday, when many people will be driving home.
Storm Team4 says you can expect a few passing showers on Wednesday. There's a chance of rain, mainly in the morning, but overall it will be light, Amelia Draper said.
On Thanksgiving Day, expect a high of 50 degrees. But wind chills will still be in the 30s. It looks like it will be windy and dry.
Then, Black Friday is looking chilly but dry, which is good for shopping or #OptOutside. We're expecting a high near 50 degrees.
Saturday will be colder, with highs only in the mid 40s and a chance of showers later in the day.
Sunday is expected to be a little warmer, but rain is likely — "more than enough rain to seriously slow travel," Storm Team4's Chuck Bell said.
