Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor hopes a stumble Monday morning that left her on crutches isn't an omen for what's to come on Capitol Hill.
Sotomayor reportedly tripped at LaGuardia Airport while rushing to catch a flight to Washington. She flew to D.C. and was taken to George Washington University Hospital, where X-rays showed she suffered a small ankle fracture, according to the Washington Post.
She was given crutches to use for the rest of her day on Capitol Hill, which included meetings with numerous senators.
And as for LaGuardia, they may want to hire a few good lawyers...
