Man Scams Teen Tourist Out of Cash at Arlington Mall

A man at the mall in Pentagon City asked a 14-year-old boy if he had change for a $100 and then gave him a counterfeit bill in exchange for $97 in real cash, police say. The suspect also flashed a gun at the teen, who was visiting on a school trip from California. News4’s Julie Carey reports.
