Strong Thunderstorms Move Through D.C. Region

Strong thunderstorms from the south moved through the D.C. area, bringing hail with them.

A flood watch is in effect for areas of Virginia that flooded Tuesday to as far east as the northern neck of Virginia.

The storms produced lightning and hail but were beginning to die down by about 6 p.m.
