Slain Delaware State Trooper Had Ties to Prince George's County

The man suspected of killing a Delaware trooper was shot to death outside his home, following a barricade that lasted for hours. Cpl. Stephen Ballard, who died 15 miles away after an exchange at a Wawa, had ties to the Washington, D.C., region, graduating high school in Prince George’s County. News4’s Meagan Fitzgerald spoke with a man who was a longtime mentor to Ballard.
