Shots were fired in Prince George's County in the very early hours of Thursday morning.
It happened around 3 a.m. in the Lynn Hill Condominiums in Temple Hills.
Police received a call for a break in, but when they arrived, they found all the parties involved knew each other.
Police say there were several people inside the condominium and while the situation was unfolding, a person of interest went to the parking lot.
Police say some sort of exchange occurred in the parking lot and the police officer fired his service weapon.
Nobody was hit and that person of interest is in police custody, according to officials.
It is still unclear if the person of interest was armed at the time of the incident.
