Proposal to Shut Down Metro Draws Criticism

An opinion piece has a lot of people talking about if the Metrorail system should be shut down for good now that ridership is way down and may not return for some time. A senior fellow with the think tank Cato Institute made the suggestion yesterday and as you might imagine, it has set off a storm of responses. Transportation reporter Adam Tuss has the details.
