Bowie State, University of Maryland Begin Racial Justice Alliance

A new law in Maryland that makes it easier to prosecute some hate crimes is named for Army First Lt. Richard Collins III, the Black Bowie State University student who was killed by a white student on the University of Maryland’s campus in 2017. The universities came together to announce a racial justice alliance. Prince George’s County Bureau Chief Tracee Wilkins reports.
