Prince George's County Police Train in High-Tech Facility

Prince George’s County has a new multi-million dollar training facility for its police officers. Bureau Chief Tracee Wilkins reports.

High-tech equipment is used to recreate real-life scenarios inside a multi-million-dollar training facility for Prince George's County Police.

The county purchased the $22 million building once operated it by the IRS.

“We built it to our specifications so it meets our needs,” Prince George’s County Police trainer Cpl. Michael Virachittevin said.

It consolidates training and police resources while preparing recruits for the future in law enforcement technology.
