Pilot Hopes to Set World Record for Gliding on the Edge of Space

Pilot Jim Payne of the Perlan Project is attempting to set a world record for air-gliding. He and a co-pilot will lift off near the Andes Mountains in Argentina where a natural phenomenon known as “mountain waves” occurs. Storm Team4 Meteorologist Amelia Draper explains.
