A 70-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle in Lorton, Virginia.
Fairfax County Police say Farman Batalia was walking east on Lorton Road at Armistead Road when he was struck by a truck at about 6:30 a.m. Thursday.
Batalia was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 63-year-old man, remained at the scene. It has not been determined whether speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
Police do not know whether Batalia was in the crosswalk at the time.
