District Failed to Withhold Social Security, Medicare Taxes for Hundreds of Workers

A payroll error dating back as many as 10 years resulted in hundreds of District government workers receiving more take home pay than they should have. An audit revealed that the city failed to withhold Social Security and Medicare taxes on those workers’ paychecks. News4’s Mark Segraves reports.
