A Year After Sandy, Progress in NY and NJ

Tuesday marks the first anniversary of superstorm Sandy, which killed more than 150 people and caused an estimated $65 billion in damages. Affected homeowners in New York and New Jersey may finally get financial compensation as both states’ governments are beginning the process of purchasing the damaged homes and tearing them down.
