Critics Object to Changes to Virginia Social Studies Standards

Virginia’s State Board of Education is considering controversial changes to the standards of learning for K-12 schools. Gov. Glenn Youngkin and his appointees have introduced a revision to history and social studies that some critics say remove marginalized communities from the curriculum.
