New President Takes Over at George Mason University

When Greg Washington was introduced as George Mason University’s new president early this year the pandemic was just emerging here, unemployment was low and the economy was healthy. The university’s first African-American president is now on campus, taking over during challenging times. He shared his vision for how Mason can come through this even stronger with Northern Virginia Bureau Chief Julie Carey.
