Netflix's $100M Investment in Black-Owned DC Bank to Have Local Impact

The owner of Lee’s Flower and Card Shop on U Street says Black-owned Industrial Bank gave her grandparents a loan when white-owned banks refused. Netflix announced a $100 million investment in the bank to help close the racial wealth gap. The bank’s CEO told News4’s Meagan Fitzgerald he’s working to build wealth in Black communities.
