Nationals Park to Host Watch Parties for Games 6 and (We Hope) 7 of World Series

Houston is leading the Nationals in the World Series, 3-2

Nationals fans swarmed the streets in celebration Tuesday night after the team swept the Cardinals in the NLCS. News4’s Shomari Stone, Derrick Ward and Tommy McFly have team coverage.

The World Series has turned into a nail-biter, but Nationals fans are hanging onto hope. After winning two games in Houston but losing all three at home, the Nats are headed back to Houston for the conclusion of the series.

As with the first two games in Houston, D.C.-area fans can head to Nats Park to attend watch parties for Games 6 and 7 (we hope there will be a Game 7).

The general public will be able to watch the game broadcast on the NatsHD scoreboard from the seating bowl of Nats Park, and NATS PLUS members will get seating in the Delta Sky360 Club, PNC Diamond Club and Budweiser Brew House, plus free food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Admission to the watch party is free, but tickets are required — you can get them on the Nats' website.

For Game 6 on Monday and Game 7 on Wednesday (again, if a Game 7 is played), parking garages will open at 5:30 p.m. Free parking will be available in the GEICO Garage and Garage C on a first-come, first-served basis.

Center Field gates will open at 6:30 p.m.

First pitch for Game 6 will be 8:07 p.m.; first pitch for Game 7 would be 8:08 p.m.
