Murder in Upper Marlboro Does Not Appear to Be Random, Police Say

Prince George’s County police say the shooting death of a man in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, does not appear to be random.

Prince George's County police say the shooting death of a man in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, does not appear to be random.

Officers were called to the 12100 block of Hunterton Street at midnight Wednesday for a report of a shooting.

When they arrived, they found 22-year-old Andre Stocks of Upper Marlboro suffering from a gunshot wound. Stocks was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police say the homicide does not appear to be random. 

No suspect information has been released at this time.
