Moms of Children with Autism Work to Teach Acceptance

For the past eight years, Yolie Carrasco and Mildred Rivera have talked with children in Alexandria, Virginia, about autism. Carrasco has a son with autism who is 19. Rivera’s identical twins are now 14. “We really want the kids to be accepting and not just tolerating,” River said. News4’s Julie Carey reports.
