Missing Md. Woman Found Safe, Police Say

Police in Montgomery County are trying to track down a teenager who’s been missing since she left work Saturday evening. Angelica Barahona-Rivas, 18, is related to a 15-year-old girl who was allegedly killed by suspected gang members, according to investigators. News4’s Pat Collins reports from Montgomery Village.

An 18-year-old woman who vanished after leaving her job early Saturday night has been found safe. 

Angelica Ivania Barahona-Rivas was found Tuesday morning in Montgomery Village, Montgomery County police say.

Barahona-Rivas left her job at the Wok Express in Gaithersburg before her shift was scheduled to be over. Her family and friends became concerned when they could not get in touch with her. 

Barahona-Rivas's cousin, Alexandra Reyes, 15, was found dead in Springfield, Virginia, earlier this month. Ten people have been arrested in connection with her death.
