Arlington Family Missing Its Python

Little girl's baby python slithered away during a picnic

It’s not your average family pet on the loose.

One family in Arlington is missing its baby python.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Six-year-old Ava Riggs was playing with her brother and sister outside their home in the Fairlngton area. Happy, her snake, slithered away during a picnic.

The family showed off Rigg's brother's python, who is of a similar size. They're hoping someone might recognize Happy, who is about one foot long (i.e., not terrifying yet).

Pythons can grow to be up to four feet long.
