Howard County police are searching for a 30-year-old man who was last seen at a Columbia, Maryland, hospital.
Joshua Sandoval was last seen leaving Howard County General Hospital in the 5500 block of Cedar Lane at 10:25 p.m. Sunday.
Officers searched for Sandoval overnight, but they could not find him in Columbia or at his home in Ellicott City. Investigators are concerned for his welfare because he is not dressed for the cold weather.
Police say a recent communication with a family member suggested he may be in distress.
Sandoval is 5 feet 10 inches and weights 152 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a hospital gown.
Anyone with information that can help police is asked to call 911.
