Metro to Vote on Fare Hike

Metro will vote on a plan to raise fares Thursday as a part of its overall budget plan Metro unveiled last fall. Under the proposal, most train trips would go up about three percent. If you take the bus, it could cost an extra $1.75 if you pay with a SmarTrip Card, and $2 more with cash. Parking would go up 25 cents at all Metro lots. If approved, prices will go up in July. News4’s Richard Jordan has more on the vote.
