Md. Schools Pilot Program Pushing for Education Equality

The Maryland State Board of Education is working to close the achievement gap by focusing on how the system teaches and supports Black boys and young men. This fall, a number of schools throughout the state will launch a pilot program with a curriculum expected to improve outcomes for black males. Prince George’s County Bureau Chief Tracee Wilkins explains.
