Prince George's Co. High School Celebrates First-Ever NBA Draft Pick, Marcus Thornton

Bishop McNamara High School in Prince George’s County is celebrating after graduate Marcus Thornton was drafted 45th overall by the Boston Celtics. “Overnight success didn’t come in one night,” Thornton told News4’s Carol Maloney. “It’s a lot of long summers, long days putting the work in.”
