Maryland Celebrates Its First Kimchi Day

A new holiday pays homage to a traditional Korean dish. Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan officially declared Nov. 22 Kimchi Day. Virginia and D.C. also recognize the food holiday. Kimchi is a staple in Korean cuisine, but News4’s Eun Yang reports the fermented favorite is being celebrated for many other reasons.
