Someone shot and killed a man near an apartment complex along Ely Place SE in the District Thursday afternoon. The location is just across the street from the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy. News4’s Pat Collins reports.
Police are investigating the shooting death of a man whose body was found with multiple bullet wounds outside an apartment complex in southeast D.C.
The victim was found outside the Banneker Place apartment complex on Ely Street Thursday afternoon.
The family identified the victim as 28-year-old Sheldon Robinson.
Police have not released any information about the motive for the shooting.
The shooting occurred near Sousa Middle School and the Nationals Youth Baseball Academy.
