Police are investigating a shooting that occurred after a thief tried to steal an iPhone from a man in NE D.C.
A man was shot in the face during a iPhone robbery around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, in the 1300 block of G Street NE.
Police said two armed men approached the victim, one pulling out a handgun. They took the victim's iPhone, then shot him in the face.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. So far, no arrests have been made.
