One person was killed and another injured after a crash on Indian Head Highway in Accokeek, Md., according to Prince George’s County police.
Police spokeswoman Nicole Hubbard said a car heading southbound was hit by another car traveling northbound around 1 a.m. Saturday. A man in the southbound car was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman in the northbound car suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Hubbard said police are unsure why the two cars collided, but investigators are working at the scene.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
