Man Found Shot to Death on Route 450 Over BW Parkway

Detectives are looking for answers after a 29-year-old man was shot and killed on a busy road during the height of rush hour in Prince George’s County, Maryland. News4’s Shomari Stone reports.

A man was found shot to death on a Maryland highway during the peak of rush hour on Wednesday.

James Edwards, 29, of New Carrollton was found dead on Route 450 above the Baltimore-Washington Parkway about 6:10 p.m., Prince George's County police said.

A gas station clerk told News4 he heard at least five gunshots.

Police said the shooting doesn't appear to be random.

The investigation created traffic delays in the area.
