Prince William County police are investigating the shooting death of a man in Dumfries, Virginia.

Prince William County police are investigating the shooting death of a man in Dumfries, Virginia. 

Officers were called to the 3100 block of Chesapeake Drive just after 1 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a shooting. 

Police say the man had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has not been identified.

Detectives do not believe the shooting was random, police said. 

No arrests have been made.
