Driver Sought After Deadly Hit-And-Run in NW DC

For the second time in 24 hours, a man was hit and killed at a Northwest Washington intersection. Police say the driver didn’t bother to stop. News4’s Darcy Spencer spoke to people who work nearby.

Police are looking for the driver who fatally struck a 29-year-old man in Northwest Washington early Friday morning. 

The crash happened just before 3 a.m. in the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and M Street NW, between Dupont and Washington circles.

Police say David Narvaez of Arlington, Virginia, was transported to a hospital, where he later died. 

Authorities are looking for a dark-colored vehicle; a make and model was not available.

Police closed New Hampshire Avenue at M Street for their investigation.
