Man Charged with Murder After Killing Acquaintance

One man was killed inside a car window-tinting store on Central Avenue in Seat Pleasant. News4’s Darcy Spencer reports.

A Seat Pleasant, Md., man is dead and police have arrested a man who worked in the same place as the victim, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

The victim is identified as Donald Campbell, 55. Police found Campbell inside an automotive business around 7 p.m. Saturday night. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police interviewed Archie Singleton, 43, of Upper Marlboro. He is an employee of the business and was an acquaintance of Campbell.

During the interview, Singleton admitted his involvement in the shooting and was taken into custody. He is charged with second-degree murder.

Police have not released a motive in the case.
