Bowie, Maryland resident Chartese Burnett fought and survived non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, the same type of cancer with which Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan was diagnosed. “It is absolutely not a death sentence,” Dr. Catherine Broom of Medstar Georgetown University Hospital said. News4’s Pat Muse reports.
