Laurel Man Charged With Stabbing Supervisor

A Laurel man is charged with stabbing his supervisor after being questioned about his attendance at work, said Prince George's County Police.

Robert Pandohie Jr. in Laurel is charged with first- and second-degree assault.

Officers were called to an apartment complex in the 9500 block of Muirkirk Road Thursday at approximately 5:15 p.m., where Pandohie serves on the maintenance staff.

Police said Pandohie stabbed his supervisor with a knife multiple times after the supervisor approached him to discuss his job attendance. Officers recovered the knife, and police say the supervisor's injuries aren't life-threatening.

The victim was able to wrestle away the knife during the incident, police said.

It wasn't clear if Pandohie had a lawyer, and no telephone listing for him could immediately be found.
