Loudoun County Man Fighting Eminent Domain Ruling

A man who built his dream home in Ashburn, Virginia, is fighting to have a say in the planning of a road set to cut through his land. Shawn Pahlavani’s lawyer told News4’s Derrick Ward the fight could affect landowners across Virginia. “The court is going to decide whether the Constitution requires the state to tell an owner when it takes their property,” attorney Jeremy Hopkins said.
