Juveniles in Maryland detention centers learn life lessons through basketball tournament

Boys currently held at detention centers across the state were able to cast off “stripes… and numbers across their chest” to play basketball and learn valuable life lessons along the way, the director of recreational programs for the Department of Juveniles Services said. “They’re well behaved guys; you’ve got to give them a chance.”
