Hundreds Brave the Heat in Southeast DC to Feed the Needy

Several hundred people in Southeast Washington braved the heat and humidity for a food giveaway sponsored by Feed the Children and Pepsico. The $250,000 project fed about 800 families. News4’s Tom Sherwood visited the program, which is Working 4 the Community.
