Historical Mural Coming to Tenleytown

A mural honoring the history of D.C.’s Tenleytown neighborhood is being painted a few blocks south of the Metro station. Artist Jarrett Ferrier said he hopes it will make the area a little more beautiful. “To improve the quality of the day, that is the highest of arts,” he said, taking a note from Henry David Thoreau.
