Man Overdosed on Heroin in Alexandria Hospital

A man who overdosed on heroin and was revived with Narcan overdosed a second time from inside a hospital. Alexandria Police are determined to cut the supply of opioids and other drugs using a new approach. The opioid epidemic has become so severe that detectives respond to every overdose. The city, meanwhile, wants to guide victims toward treatment. News4’s Julie Carey reports.
