Health Officials Report Record Number of Tick-Borne Diseases

Lyme disease may get the most attention, but health officials say ticks can transmit a variety of illnesses. A bite from the lone star tick, found along the East Coast and in the South, can cause an allergic reaction to meat. News4’s Doreen Gentzler reports.
