Halloween Costume Safety

While dressing up for Halloween can be fun, it can also be a fire hazard. To make your costume more fire resistant, mix 4 ounces of boric acid with 9 ounces of borax. Dissolve in a gallon of warm water. Soak the costume and let it drip dry. Recipe courtesy of the Washington Hospital Center.
