Frozen Berry Recall

The Centers for Disease Control say at least 60 people are now sick with hepatitis A infections linked to frozen berries sold at Costco and Harrison Teeter stores.

The frozen berries were sold between April 19th and May 7th under the names Townsend Farms Organic Antioxidant Blend and Harris Teeter Organic Antioxidant Berry Blend.

The Food and Drug Administration says hepatitis A usually occurs when an infected food handler prepares food without proper hand hygiene. So far, no local cases of illness have been reported. If you have these berries, FDA says throw them in the trash right away.
