From Usher to Composer at the Kennedy Center: The Inspirational Art of Nolan Williams Jr.

The Kennedy Center describes Nolan Williams Jr. as a “creative force.” He started as an usher at the Kennedy Center when he was a teenager, and on Monday, he will be a guest composer on stage for Damien Geter’s An African-American Requiem. Williams spoke to us about what inspires his work.
