Frederick County Schools Ending Use of Seclusion Rooms, Restraints

Seclusion rooms will no longer be used to address behavioral problems in Frederick County Public Schools after a federal investigation found FCPS used seclusion and restraint primarily on students with disabilities. News4’s Cory Smith reports on the new agreement between the school district and the Department of Justice — and the calls to remove the use of seclusion and restraint from schools nationwide.
