New Kids on the Block are returning to Washington, D.C.! The legendary boy band will be here in 2019 — and they're not coming alone. Special guests on the tour include Salt-N-Pepa, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson and Naughty by Nature. Tickets for VIP packages and fan club members went on sale Oct. 9. Tickets opened for the rest of the public Oct. 12.

One of H Street's most popular music venues is launching a very piggy happy hour, with free bacon slices and drink specials. But you'll have to get lucky to get steep discounts: You roll a dice to determine what you pay for well cocktails, wine and beer.

Roll a 1 and pay $1, roll a 2 and pay $2, roll a 3 and pay half-price.

Milk Bar partners with events and catering company Please Eat Chips for an afternoon of tasty treats and wine pairings. Tickets cost $35 and include three dessert wine pours, cheese, Milk Bar treats and a talk on how to pair dessert wine.

The Punch Bowl Social, a retro-style bar already open in San Diego in Chicago, debuts in Arlington (4238 Wilson Blvd.) on Dec. 8. A cozy fireplace defines the holiday lounge on the first and second floors. "Virginia Is for Lovers"-styled karaoke rooms and an homage to Arlington's Great Elephant Escape — when four elephants escaped an amusement park in 1906 and ran through town — add local touches.
The Watergate
They're not technically made of ice, but these clear-walled domes on the terrace of the Watergate hotel's The Next Whisky Bar (2650 Virginia Ave. NW) will keep you toasty. Rental fees range from $100 to $250, except on Mondays, when fees are waived. They also boast a view of the ice skating rink.

The store, which opened its first location in 2017 to feature the work of local artisans, is set to open their second location at The Wharf on Saturday.
