Fairfax County Board Upset by Metro's Plan to Sell Station Naming Rights

Fairfax County Board Chair Sharon Bulova has sent a letter to Metro General Manager Paul Wiedefeld voicing displeasure of the transit agency’s plan to sell the naming rights to some Silver Line Stations. The push back has prompted Metro to drop the proposal from their Thursday board meeting. As News4’s Adam Tuss reports, riders have already come up with some of their own ideas for new station names.
